After the mix up about our room on our wedding day, the Delta Burnaby decided to give us a free night's stay at their hotel to apologize. We were happy to accept!
We decided to use the gift certificate to the Keg that we got as a wedding present and make a night of it!
We hit the hot tub, took advantage of the happy hour for VIP guests, and wore robes!
The hotel even sent us a slice of cheesecake for our "anniversary", but we gladly ate it!
We drove to The Keg for a steak dinner (salmon for me) and a glass of wine to celebrate our belated Valentine's day. It was a great change of pace!
And like most things in our lives, it was quiet but special for us because we were together!
